The Pesticide Awareness Group is a subcommittee of the Lynnfield Conservation Commission. It was established several years ago and reports directly to the Conservation Commission and its Administrator. Chairman Patty Fabbri and her members have been diligently working to reduce Lynnfield’s use of pesticides.
Pesticide Awareness members are seeking additional volunteers to assist with educating the public and join in their quest to reduce pesticide use throughout Lynnfield. Please contact Conservation Administrator, Betty Adelson, at (781) 334-2054 or e-mail bettyadelson@town.lynnfield.ma.us if you would like additional information or wish to volunteer.
The Pesticide Awareness Committee conducted its annual “Organic Lawn Seminar” on March 19, 2008. Special thanks to the Lynnfield Rotary for generously sponsoring this event! Click here for a workshop flyer.
