Current members of the Subcommittee are: Bert Beaulieu and Nathan Rawding, Co-Chairs, Marge Generazzo, Brendan Tierney, Bob Senk, Bob Priestley, and Richard Ripley, with the assistance of Conservation Administrator, Betty Adelson.
The Open Space Subcommittee has finalized the 2010 Lynnfield Open Space and Recreation Plan and will be submitting to the State for final approval. Upon approval printed copies will be available at the Conservation Office and Lynnfield Public Library, as well as on this webpage.
We are looking for interested residents to serve on the Open Space Task Force to implement the goals and objectives of the Open Space Plan. The time committment involved is varied. It can range from volunteering a few hours on a "Clean Up Day" or planning a walk through one of our Conservation Areas to meeting on a regular basis to plan mark trails and wildlife corridors. If you are interested in an appointment to the Open Space Task Force, please submit a letter of interest to Al Merritt, Chair, Board of Selectmen, 55 Summer Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940.
