Chairman Bourque called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. and the following business was conducted:
Warrant for State Election
On a motion of Selectman Merritt, duly seconded, the Board voted unanimously that the polls in each precinct will open at 7:00 a.m. and will be closed at 8:00 p.m. on November 4, 2008. The polling places for voters in precincts 1 and 4 will be at the Senior Center, 525 Salem Street and for those in precincts 2 and 3 will be at King Rail Reserve Golf Course Clubhouse, 427 Walnut Street, all in said Lynnfield.
Resignations from the Recreational Path Committee
Resignations from the Recreational Path Committee were received from Stacy Nugent and Susan Nugent. On a motion of Selectman MacKendrick, duly seconded, the Board voted unanimously to accept the resignations.
Article 5 –amendment Section 9.5 of the Zoning Bylaw – boutique theater/restaurant in Traditional Neighborhood Village Sub-Division
After a brief discussion concerning a recommendation on Article 5, on a motion of Selectman MacKendrick, duly seconded, the Board voted unanimously to recommend Article 5 to Town Meeting.
The Board adjourned the meeting at 6:48 p.m.
